The South African Football Association has provided an update on injuries in the Bafana Bafana camp.
The have been concerns about injuries to some of the key players, including Itumeleng Khune, Thulani 'Tyson' Hlatshwayo and Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala.
While there are still concerns about Khune, it has been confirmed that there should be no worries about Hlatshwayo and Tshabalala.
Bafana head coach, Stuart Baxter, has explained the current situation regarding the two players.
“We gave them a small rest just as a precaution but it is nothing serious. Both are fine and should be available for the final selection for the match on Friday,” Baxter has been quoted on SAFA’s official website.
As reported, Tiyani Mabunda has been called up to replace Hlompho Kekana, who has left the Bafana camp due a family bereavement.
Bafana play Senegal in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday.
